Purpose
To support the NEV Community Dinner by creating a warm, welcoming space for neighbours to connect over delicious food and fun activities. Volunteers help bring this event to life through food prep, hospitality, and community engagement
Description
We’re looking for a crew of awesome volunteers to help with the next NEV Community Dinner at the NEV Bowling Club on North Road, happening Saturday 20 September.
Whether you're a kitchen whiz, a people person, a setup superstar, or a Dishwasher Extraordinaire, there’s a role for you!
Tasks may include:
Prepping and serving food
Setting up and packing down the venue
Running activities for all ages
Welcoming and chatting with guests
Dishwashing and general tidying
Requirements
No experience necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in! Volunteers should be:
Friendly and reliable
Comfortable working in a team
Keen to support a community-focused event
Time commitment
Friday 19 September (afternoon) – prep and setup
Saturday 20 September (afternoon & evening) – event support
Even a couple of hours makes a big difference!
