Work with UniCrew

Want more help from students who are keen to volunteer, learn on the ground, and make a difference in Dunedin? UniCrew is here to support you.

We connect community organisations with students from across the University of Otago, helping you reach enthusiastic volunteers who are ready to give their time, energy, and skills to local causes.

How UniCrew can help your organisation

Whether you need one-off support or ongoing volunteer involvement, we can help you:

🔹 Promote your roles

We list your volunteer opportunities on the Priceless platform, our central hub for students to find meaningful ways to contribute.

This gives you:

  • Visibility across a wide range of students, from curious first years to experienced leaders

  • A simple way to showcase what you need help with

  • A way for students to sign up directly and make it easy for you to connect with them

🔹 Connect with motivated students

UniCrew volunteers are:

  • Interested in community impact

  • Curious to learn and contribute

  • Able to bring diverse skills and fresh perspectives

Students come from all faculties and backgrounds — ready to support events, programmes, workshops, mentoring, admin support, and more.

🔹 Build long-term relationships

Some organisations use UniCrew to recruit volunteers again and again. We can help you build ongoing connections with students who return or grow into leadership roles.
