Community Partners

Volunteer South Partnership

We are grateful for our partnership with Volunteer South which allows us to easily discover and promote volunteer opportunities that are available in our community.

With an organisation’s permission, we are able to access volunteer role description sfrom Volunteer South so we can put them in front of students via our online database and social media communities.

Programme Partners

UniCrew and the University of Otago could not do what we do without the support of our community partners.

Catalytic Foundation

The Social Impact Studio is grateful to the Catalytic Foundation for its ongoing support of the Reading Oasis programme. Their funding enables university students to work alongside children to build literacy confidence and a love of reading. This support helps ensure Reading Oasis remains accessible, consistent, and impactful for the school community it serves.

Carisbrook School

Carisbrook School has been a valued and long-standing partner of the Social Impact Studio since 2014. The school has generously hosted our programmes over many years, including the former Aspire Programme and, more recently, Reading Oasis. We deeply appreciate the trust, collaboration, and commitment of the staff and students at Carisbrook School, whose openness and care make it possible for university students to contribute meaningfully while learning alongside the school community.

Alzheimers Otago

Alzheimers Otago is a key community partner for the Minds Together programme, working with the Social Impact Studio to create meaningful intergenerational connections between university students and people living with dementia. This partnership brings together student energy and compassion with Alzheimers Otago’s expertise in dementia support, creating a programme that centres dignity, connection, and mutual learning.
