School Working Bee Volunteers - St Leonards School

School Working Bee Volunteers - St Leonards School
Organisation
St Leonards School
Description
St Leonards School is hosting a working bee on Sunday 15 March and would love support from UniCrew volunteers. This is a great chance to spend a relaxed morning outdoors helping a local school that doesn’t have a big pool of volunteers to draw from.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be helping with a mix of jobs that make a visible impact:
refreshing the gardens,
tidying up outdoor spaces, and
giving some of the buildings a much‑needed clean.
It’s the kind of mahi where you can grab some gloves, muck in alongside friendly staff and community members, and see the difference you’ve made by the time you leave.
If you enjoy being outdoors, want a one‑off volunteering opportunity, or simply feel like doing something meaningful for an awesome local school, this is a great fit.
Requirements
Comfortable with light physical activity such as weeding, pruning, sweeping, or general outdoor cleaning
Willing to get stuck in and help where needed
No experience required — school staff will be onsite to explain tasks and guide volunteers
A positive attitude and readiness to help are the main things!
Wear old clothes suitable for gardening
Closed-toe shoes (no sandals!!)
Time Commitment
Sunday 15 March
