Dunedin Fringe

Description

We are an uncurated, open access arts festival that runs for 11 days in March.

The festival is an ever-changing landscape, therefore, the roles and responsibilities on the following list may differ or change. The Fringe website has further descriptions of roles.

• Usher

• Box Office

• Event Helper

• Pack in/Pack out

• Stage Hand

• Bar

• Transport

• Programme/Poster Distribution

Requirements

• No specific requirements. Some volunteer roles require the volunteer to be over 18 years old (eg. working behind the bar)

Training

We will offer an induction for all volunteers.

Location

Varied locations around central Dunedin

Time commitment

• 12th-22nd March - Events are at various times throughout the festival and volunteers would be required for a number of them. Volunteers will be contacted prior to confirm their availability.

• Volunteer shifts can be anywhere from 1 hour to 5 hours, but there is no minimum number of shifts a volunteer must do.
