Purpose
Otago Community Hospice provides free specialist palliative care and support to people and whānau across Otago facing terminal illness. Every dollar raised in their Street Appeal stays local and directly supports people in our community.
Description
The Hospice is running its Annual Street Appeal and needs friendly volunteers to help collect donations at bucket sites across Dunedin/Ōtepoti. If you’ve got one spare hour, your help can make a huge difference. You’ll join a community effort that keeps Hospice services free for Otago families when they need it most.
Requirements
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with the public
Reliable — able to commit to the slot you choose
Happy to stand at a collection site and represent the Hospice
No experience needed
Time commitment
Friday 6 March — any 1‑hour shift between 4pm–6pm
Saturday 7 March — any time between 10am–6pm
You choose the hour(s) that suit you
