Description
Tūhura Otago Museum is a dynamic cultural institution that inspires curiosity and connection through science, nature, and heritage. It hosts exhibitions, events, and educational programmes that engage the community and celebrate local creativity.
Tūhura’s first-ever Winter Warmer Market!
This free evening event will transform the entire Museum into a vibrant marketplace featuring live music, local food, handmade goods, and exhibitions. Visitors can explore stalls from Ōtepoti’s talented growers, makers, and artists, enjoy a drink from the cash bar, and take in special Planetarium shows.
Volunteers will assist with wayfinding, welcoming guests, and supporting crowd flow throughout the Museum. You’ll help create a warm and inviting atmosphere by guiding attendees, answering questions, and ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. This is a great opportunity to be part of a lively community event and gain experience in event support and public engagement.
