Bring your enthusiasm and high energy to help make the Holi Festival of Colours come alive at Bayfield Park — with plenty of ways to get involved!
This is your chance to be part of Dunedin’s most colourful celebration, the Holi Festival of Colours featuring live DJs, non-stop dancing, authentic street food, and — of course — playing with colours! By joining the team at Dunedin Indian Association, you’ll help create a safe, joyful space for the whole community. 🌟
Choose Your Role:
Set Up/Pack Down: Be the backbone of the festival! Help transform the park into a colour zone and assist with equipment and supplies.
Crowd Management: Be the friendly face of Holi. Help guide the crowd, answer questions, and keep the energy positive and safe.
Games & Activities: Direct the action! Assist with interactive games and ensure our activities run smoothly for all ages.
Waste Warriors: Help us keep Bayfield Park beautiful. Assist with the cleanliness of the festival grounds and food areas.
General Support: A dynamic role for those who love to be where the action is, helping out across various tasks as needed.
Let’s create unforgettable memories and paint the town together!
Requirements
No experience needed: Full training for every role will be provided on the morning of the event.
Children between ages 10 - 16 can volunteer with guardian.
Time commitment
Event is Sunday 8 March 11.30am-4pm at Bayfield Park
Depending on the role, around 5 hours 11am-6pm.
